Well, thank you. I hope they captured a little of the early 20th century life in Alberta that these local museums are trying so hard to preserve. We also had a tour through the museum and grain elevator in the village of Big Valley, with population of about 250-300. Our tour guide had recently 'married' into the area and she explained that volunteer work at the museum, elevator, old train yard and other historical features in the village was expected if you lived there. It is part of a joint struggle to preserve the local history and to keep the current village from disappearing.
